Early on the morning Sunday, January 5th, 2020 the home of 1 year old Rory Norman and 20 year old Jaylon Miller was brutally assaulted with gunfire. Shortly after the incident, Rory who was shot repeatedly died at the hospital. His Uncle Jaylon was left with 5 gunshots and is currently recuperating in the hospital.
As can be expected in a situation like this, the family was caught completely off guard, and now must deal with a heavy financial burden to put multiple lives back together. Their family home has been destroyed because of the number of rounds fired and damage done.
Jaylon is a currently a junior at UNT-Dallas studying computer science and quickly becoming a skilled software developer. He now faces months of rehab and therapy to get back to the normal life he knew before this tragedy struck.
We are asking for any help you can provide to help this family rebuild a new life and adjust to all that they have tragically been through.
