College Student Needs Help After Surgery

Hi! I’m Tania Zachery. I am a black college student in Georgia. I am 23 years old, and I’ve been struggling financially for about a year. It’s been very difficult to cover bills and expenses, as a low income individual. With balancing school and work, I only make enough money to cover what I can, which isn’t enough. I have limited time, so I use my time wisely to ensure that I have school time and also get enough hours at work. Unfortunately, I do not get paid enough to cover my bills on time. I have rent, phone bill, insurance, groceries, gas and other necessities to get me by. I do not have a lot of support, and I’m mostly on my own.
On November 1st, I had to be rushed to the ER due to appendicitis and a cyst on my left ovary that had ruptured. I was in the hospital and out of work and school for almost two weeks. It is hard to do things, such as walk, use the restroom, eat, sleep, etc, with the pain I had to endure after surgery. It had taken a toll on my physical, mental and emotional health, and it put me in an even worse financial position. Since I was out of work, I missed my hours, so my next check will not be able to cover my rent, phone bill, insurance, gas, groceries or any other necessities I need. It is hard for me to get around without feel lightheaded or on the verge of passing out. I am getting assistance from friends/co-workers, but I do need assistance on my financial front of things. I wasn’t able to go grocery shopping before this emergency happened, so I do not have food at home right now.
I really need some help right now, and this surgery has made my situation worse. I’m doing my best to take it easy, but my financial situation needs to be handled so I am able to get by for the next month or two.
