College tuition!
Donation protected
Hello,
I really appreciate you all for taking moments out of your beautiful lives to take a look at my campaign, thank you so much. My name is Deo Tari and I am making this appeal in order to fund my college tuition at the LDS Business College in Salt Lake City, Utah to get certified in paralegal studies. I am a foreign student in the United States with a student exchange visa thus I am not allowed to work, that is why paying for my college tuition is such a challenge.
My home country (Nigeria) is currently in recession with loss of jobs for many, and those who do have jobs are not getting paid. The most challenging for those who are supporting me is the currency exchange rate; 5000 Nigerian naira equals only $15, which makes whatever money I get from home almost nothing. Without your help I don't know what would happen to my college dreams. Just less than a year in the USA and it already seems like the end of it all.
I have worked so hard to be where I am today and because I am not a quitter, I am positive that with your help and encouragement I will achieve this goal. It took a lot for me to travel thousands of miles away from my family in pursuit of an education that can give me and my family a better life. I cannot afford to give-up for the sake of the millions of girls in developing countries who lack the opportunity to acquire an education. As I have learned from this experience how restrained one big dreamer could get due to lack of opportunities, my heart has become even more awakened to their struggles and reignited my initial passion to fight for them.
We may never know how far a cent backed by a word of prayer would go! Anything will be totally appreciated and I promise you that Heavenly Father is aware of your contribution and He will bless you richly for giving me monies you've all toiled for and donated out of your own goodwill.
The winter semester starts in January and I am positive that with your help I will be able to attend. All funds generated from this campaign will be spent on my tuition and housing expenses for a full year while I hope and pray things get better in my home country. Once again, I am very grateful for your support towards my cause, I am super positive that this is achievable and thank you for sending good vibes my way!
