Help save MCpl (ret.) Collin Fitzgerald, PPCLI, from financial ruin! He is a genuine Canadian Hero that desperately needs your help today. In Afghanistan, he was awarded the third highest award for his bravery, the Medal of Military Valour. Since his return to Canada, MCpl Fitzgerald has experienced the challenges of PTSD, and like many veterans, that involved encounters with the Justice System. While these encounters did not result in any convictions, and in fact save his life, he has incurred over $200,000 in legal debts as his relationship with his wife ended, and he fought to maintain his freedom and get on with his life. Today, Collin lives off of his medical pension because he is unable to work. He focuses his energies on his awesome daughter Peyton, doing simple things like visits to the lake, and by volunteering to support youth at risk, and his fellow veterans. He has even adopted a portion of the Highway of Heroes, cleaning its entire 174 kilometre length twice year. Thus, he still serves Canada! BUT, he will NEVER pay off these legal debts without your help and this debt burden is affecting him and those that have supported him. Every little bit helps. Help him get his past behind him, and help move move to the future! All funds will be managed by Collin's legal firm, Duvernet, Stewart. The only individual to withdraw these funds is Christopher DuVernet, of this firm, for the sole purpose of paying off debts related to Collin's legal affairs.
