Collingham FC - Marathon?
Donation protected
As everybody knows I spend most of my life in or at Collingham Football club as Chairman, coach and resident semi professional alcoholic.
With football cancelled and the bar closed we have lost all of our income yet the bills are still coming in.
So I’ve decided to try to raise a few quid for the club which is a massive part of the community and plays a big part in the lives of many.
We will also make a donation to both Collingham Pantry and an NHS charity once the event is complete.
So here is my (stupid) plan:
For every £1 donated I will run 42.165m (capped at 154 laps) around the back pitch at Collingham on Saturday 16th May.
Why 42.165m? If I raise £1000 this equates to a marathon or 154 laps of the pitch.
I’ve don’t very little training so can assure you it won’t be easy (if I manage to get round at all).
Obviously the more raised the better the harder for me so chance for all of you who don’t like me to hurt me.
