Update!
Yesterday was a busy day! Collyn has moved from Baylor hospital to rehab in Frisco! He’s getting closer to home! We are all excited, hopeful and ready to get this next chapter of recovery started. He had a great day today in all his therapy sessions. He is zonked out tonight. He is still having some bad headaches. His vision is bothering him and he’s super sensitive to light right now. But he looks really cool with his sunglasses on!
Sheridan got out the clippers and the stylish “half/hawk” is gone and now he’s got the “buzz” cut. Now we have to work on that stache!!
He loves ❤️ visitors. If you would like to come visit then please text or inbox me or his dad. He has a few rules to follow and his daily schedule is different every day. I know he’d love to see you.
We thank you all for your prayers and continued love and support!!

Update. 1/14/19
Collyn had a great morning. PT and OT and did fabulous. Still waiting on speech and we have sent a message to be first on the list in the morning because he is ready to get rid of his NG tube and has begged for Gatorade tonight. This afternoon he became extremely lethargic again and sent the Dr and nurses scrambling. Back for another emergency CT. Results had not changed so that was good. I think he’s just keeping everyone on their toes. But it terrifies this mom! Right now he’s either wide awake or totally lethargic. Each day is a new day and a new accomplishment! Thank you all for the continued prayers, love and support! We appreciate you all! ❤️

Thank you prayer warriors!!  Keep praying and all donations are greatly appreciated more than words can say.

Collyn's mom posted::::Around 6am this morning Collyn was taken back for an emergency CT. Results were life threatening. The swelling was now also near his brain stem. Scariest moment of my life. Paul and I were told that we had two options. Let him die or do a surgery that had a 50/50 chance. The surgery was a success. The swelling has now gone down. Now we wait and pray some more. Keep positive and keep faith. He is not allowed visitors right now but hopefully soon. He is surrounded by his family. Thank each and every one of you for your prayers, love, comments and support. ❤️

This Go Fund Me is for Collyn and his family as they continue his journey to recovery. Proceeds will be used to offset  medical expenses.
This is from his mom~~Sunday Collyn fell and hit the back of his head. Friends found him unresponsive Sunday afternoon at his house and contacted us. He was taken via ambulance to TMC Sherman. They then sent him care flight to Baylor in Dallas. He has 2 brain bleeds. The bleeds are located deep so it’s a kinda tricky. He is now breathing on his on. He is responding to some commands. He is not very vocal. But we see improvements and have hope. He doesn’t open his eyes much but I’m sure no one would with that kind of headache. Each day and hour is something new and promising. Surgery is last option and we should know more about that tomorrow.
I will do my best to keep everyone updated but our main focus right now is Collyn.
I SOOOO appreciate every call and text. Thank you!! I am soooo very thankful and blessed with all our wonderful family and friends. If I haven’t responded or I am slow to respond then please know that We are not ignoring and that our focus is on Collyn and all his needs.
All prayers and donations are certainly appreciated!!
Thank you   Kim and family
