Colm O Hagan
For all who have met Colm , knows that he is one of the finest Irish men to ever come to Australia. He lived in Perth since early 80’s and he and his business partner Dennis Burke ran Shamrock Shuttering.
A formwork company that gave me and hundreds of people a start when they made their way to Australia, He always looked after those that made their way from home, and helped them make Australia their home.
He went out of his way to help people all his life, a fantastic character who loved all things Irish.
A verry funny man who loved the Craic. Tug of war was his main sport, and as long as he had a bit of didley di di music in his ear , he would pull rope all day. He and his team were Australian Tug of War champions back in the day.
A very hardworking man all his life and unfortunately coming home from work last week he had a serious car accident.
He had a lot of bleeding internally and a broken neck. He is in Westmead hospital in Sydney been looked after by his two daughters Liz and Bernie. The doctors are keeping him sedated still and have stopped the internal bleeding and fused his neck.
We just need him to start breathing again on his own and hopefully we will have him back on his feet with that great smile again verry soon.
So for all who know him or just want to help a fellow Irish man in his hour of need, please donate to this go fund me page and return the favour he has done for so may all his life.
Bernie and Liz will take charge of the fund and make sure he is well looked after.
All support is greatly appreciated,
