At Color Your Story Onto Mine Inc., we believe in the transformative power of art and storytelling. Founded by author, award-winning artist, and master facilitator Violet A. Newborn, our programs combine creative expression with essential life skills to help individuals overcome the impact of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and find healing through art.

Our Mission:

Our mission is to offer prevention and recovery solutions through creative programs that break the legacy of ACEs with life skills, support, and empowerment through artistic expression. We are also fierce advocates for children and foster youth, deeply committed to community engagement.

About Our Programs:

Color Your Story Onto Mine Inc. provides public and private classes, workshops, and speaking engagements, utilizing art and storytelling to guide participants on a journey of self-discovery and healing. Each session, led by Violet A. Newborn, offers more than just art instruction; it provides valuable tools for emotional growth, personal development, and creative expression.

Why We Need Your Support:

In America, 1 in 4 girls and 1 in 6 boys will experience molestation or abuse, and foster youth make up a disproportionate amount of the prison population. We aim to address these challenges by offering tuition-free programs to "Worth The Risk Youth" in the Memphis area who are dealing with the foster care and juvenile justice systems, as well as those from single-parent households.

Worth The Risk Youth Scholarships:

We are launching the Worth The Risk Youth Scholarships to provide these deserving youth with the opportunity to attend our summer camp. These scholarships will cover the cost of tuition, ensuring that participants have access to our transformative programs without financial barriers.

Campaign Goal:

Help us raise $5,000 to support 20 "Worth The Risk" students this summer. Your donations will provide them with a safe and supportive environment where they can explore their creativity, develop essential life skills, and embark on a journey of healing and empowerment.
