Cols F U cancer fund!

Hi, I am raising money for my brother in law who was hit with a devastating diagnosis of terminal lung & secondary brain cancer in June 2022. We now know this has spread to his liver & adrenal gland. Those of you who know Col will know how amazingly he is dealing with his diagnosis & his outlook to life is inspiring to us all! Unfortunately however, the treatments are now having a bigger impact on him & his body. He is unable to drive & now unable to ride his bike safely or walk far due to his energy levels. To enable him to keep his independence but more importantly so he can get out & about which we all know he loves to do he has succumbed to the idea of having a mobility scooter! Of course the one he wanted was about 11k, not quite sure if it flies for that price but no doubt it will just get nicked so we’ll keep it basic!!!!!

On a serious note myself & family would love to have the funds to enable Col to have what he wants & needs to support him & his family at what is a physical & emotionally challenging time but unfortunately we don’t so if any of you amazing kind people can help contribute in any way it would be very much appreciated.

I completely understand that times are very difficult for lots of people financially so please don’t feel obliged to donate if you can’t afford it.

The target amount should get him some good quality wheels & anything left or if any additional funds are raised these will be used to support his ongoing alternative treatment which is additional to his nhs treatments, a special diet, holistic therapies & if possible enable him to make some more special memories with his family with days out or even a holiday!
