Colton Black's Fight Against Lymphoma

As many of you are aware my nephew, Colton Black, was recently diagnosed with two life-threatening illnesses: hepatosplenic t-cell lymphoma cancer and a serious heart condition- a bicuspid aortic valve with regurgitation and a mass on one of his heart valves that appears to have been from an infection at some point in his life. Having these two illnesses at the same time has made treatment for Colton extremely critical but even more dangerous. While Colton desperately needs open heart surgery, he cannot put off starting chemo treatments as the form of cancer he has is very aggressive and will continue to grow very rapidly. There is no time to waste so he will begin his treatments Thursday, August 10th.

Colton’s doctors have taken him out of work indefinitely. While his income has been completely put to a halt, the expenses of daily life and medical bills have not and will continue to accumulate during his fight to BEAT cancer! I have created this GoFundMe to help alleviate the financial strain, not only for Colton, but for his family as well as they help meet his needs. All funds will go towards the care of Colton; to help relieve some of the burden so he can put ALL his energy and focus on the battle that lies before him. The Bible commands us in Galatians 6:2 to help carry one another’s burdens. This family has always gone above and beyond for those in need, so let’s give them that same love!
