Colton Hering

On Thursday, October 05, Colton had a sudden, severe asthma attack and stopped breathing. He was taken by ambulance to a local hospital, ventilated, then air lifted to a trauma one center with fluid on his lungs and fluid in his brain. The pressure on his brain caused irreversible damage, which caused his organs to shut down, and on Friday, October 06, 2023, our sweet boy passed away in the early morning in Nahtanha’s arms. Colton was a sweet, wonderful, genuine and funny kid who had interests in karate, video games, percussion, and guitar. He loved his family and had a heart of gold and his whole life ahead of him. He would have been fourteen on November 04. Losing him is an unimaginable loss, but we will carry our love for him and his memory in our hearts for the rest of our lives. Although he was taken from us way too soon, our lives are better for having had him in it and we take comfort in knowing that he led a meaningful life filled with love.
