Hey, everyone as a lot of you may know local business owner Walt from (Fruit Lands Farm Market & Deerfield Skating Center) Walt Carrington was in a combine accident at the Columbiana county fair 08-04-2024 this is something him and his son Avery Carrington have done every year this year… his loving wife Paula & Daughter Amanda Carrington spend a great amount of time helping prepare the combines for this event other family, friends & very supportive customers gathered around to watch and support unfortunately this was not like the past year's everything was going great up until it wasn’t his seatbelt unfortunately failed…When he was bumped he then fell out of the combine hitting his face, causing him to have to be life flighted. at the hospital, they were able to clean him up/look over him and give him a CAT scan finding out he had multiple breaks he currently has a broken jaw, broken roof plate, several broken teeth along with a broken nose he is currently scheduled for surgery on Tuesday this go fund me it’s being made to help pay for some of the medical bills and expenses from the accident as he doesn’t have insurance and medical expenses unfortunately are very costly… we will be holding two different benefits, one at Deerfield, skating, & one at Salem skate & fun center dates to come soon and will be posted from the businesses direct pages on Facebook with more information regarding the events.
