Columbia Grange Hall #87 - Love where you live

Hi my name is Jocelyn and I am on a mission to not only save but to restore the Lyle Grange hall so it can once again become a center of our community. I am very passionate about community and a grange hall is the perfect place for so many events from weddings to educational classes. The current status of the Lyle grange hall is poor and is in need of some serious upgrades inside and out.

My goal is to get our community involved in restoring this historical building that holds so much history.

 

We will be using our funds for the following repairs and maintenance to the grange

 

Lyle Grange Hall needs

Heat/cooling source is needed for the building

Upgraded kitchen and appliances

Bathroom and plumbing upgrade

Upgraded windows

New flooring 
Upgraded stage for Musical, Theatrical performances and guest speakers

Septic System/Tank

Electrical upgrade

Roof

 

These are some of the needs so we can get the building back to its shining point. We want to be able to have a safe clean functioning place for our community events.

The grange earns money by renting space out for weddings, birthdays and other local events. At this point in time anything the grange needs is coming out of personal pockets just to keep the doors open.

 

Please help us in restoring the oldest original standing grange hall in the state of Washington

Columbia Grange No. 87 is a historic icon located near Lyle. It was first organized, November 5, 1889, five days before Washington would become the 42nd State. The Grange and community have been using the original building for 132 years, and it is currently the oldest Grange Hall in the state in terms of continuous use.
