Combat Covid Masks
Donation protected
This all started two weeks ago when my aunt who is recovering from cancer wanted me to make her a mask so she could feel more comfortable going for a short walk. So alongside my dad who is a fire engineer we designed a mask that we feel offers good protection during this current pandemic (two layers of cotton and a non woven interfacing layer of fabric in the middle that acts as a barrier) and its also comfortable to wear. Nothing is ever going to be 100% but I feel we have created some pretty good handmade face coverings, and every little helps to lessen the spread. This is not actual PPE but it can help in its own way. Fast forward to this week and I have turned my studio into a mini factory producing, as many masks as we can for people in need. We are selling masks but with your donation here we will be able to continue our mission to make and provide as many masks for free for nursing homes in the Kildare area, as well as others that badly need them. Please donate big or small to help my team be able to keep going for the next few weeks, to buy more fabric and do our part to help our country.
