Come! Help! Support! Fred's recover from FIRE....

HELLO!
Whether you are one of our long-standing patrons, fans and friends, or a casual frequenter to our bar, or a customer of our recently amped-up delivery service, anyone who knows Fred’s knows we are a TRUE NEIGHBORHOOD HAVEN.
Now, we’ve been faced with a challenge for which we seek your support.
FRED’s has suffered a devastating fire in our main dining room. Thanks to a speedy response from the #FDNY and our internal up-to-date safety measures, the damage is minimal compared to what it MIGHT have been - our kitchen is intact, and most importantly - NO ONE WAS HURT!
But - in order to rebuild and regenerate, we truly need your #support in our time of need, like never before. As the world around us faces its own unique challenges due to the #Covid19 #pandemic, we are committed to reviving and rebuilding our wonderful #nycrestaurant for new generations to enjoy!
We are more than a beloved neighborhood hangout...yes, we have amazing Mac and Cheese, mouth-watering Burgers, and so many more delicious foods we know you savor and love...since 1997, collectively, we have created a community, a safe space, a home!
Fred’s comforted hundreds on a nightly basis during 9-11, we survived the NYC blackout of 2003, and we weathered the ravages of Hurricane Sandy, again bringing together our #community like a family.
We have been fortunate to have the overwhelming support of a #neighborhood that has always been there for us - just as we’ve always been there for you!
But we’ve got a daunting task ahead - to bring back our main dining room from almost total devastation! Every dollar raised will help us rebuild - whether it's $2 for a picture frame or $50 for a dining room chair, no amount is too small.
Along with the dining room itself, we’ve also lost a piece of our heart and soul - some of our very first family dog photos, among other treasures, and we’d love to find a way to rebuild that photo collection. We’d love your help with that in another post....
We know that you are all hurting out there too - but here and now, we ask - from any and all who are able to help us - with a dollar, or two, or more, to help us achieve our goal to fully restore and renovate our wonderful dining room and restaurant for you and your families and friends - and their families and friends - our loyal #employees and their families - to enjoy for generations to come.
It’s rare to have the kind of clientele and community relationship we have always had with #NYC and our much-loved #UWS neighborhood. Let’s keep the love flowing and make sure it KEEPS FLOWING!
