Help fund new music studio after Krowji Fire
Come On Feel The Noise Music Studio Appeal is a fundraiser to help artists & musicians get back to recording music after losing their studio in a fire.
Artists and musicians Stuart James Blackmore and Alice Mahoney work as producers and facilitators with a broad range of people. They rented a studio for sound and media sessions at Krowji which they lost in the recent Krowji fire.
Unfortunately Krowji currently do not have any suitable studios for sound-based work so we are hoping to fundraise and secure a suitable hub to continue this aspect of our practice for our clients
Some of our clients have diverse and complex needs so we need a place to soundproof and house recording equipment with wheelchair access. One client, for example, Oliver Goulding, has had to stop recording his debut album because of a lack of suitable soundproofed and accessible spaces available to rent.
Another client, Rory Bray-Harper, recorded his recent BBC commission ‘Rory’s Alternative Guide To The Woods’, which was recently broadcast on BBC Radio and has also had to halt some of his future projects because of the fire.
Please help us secure a space so we can continue this great work.
