Carter Gray's Surgery Fund

Donation protected
On April 12th Carter Victoria Maria Gray came into this world at 8:51 am at 8.4lbs.  It quickly came to the attention of the team at Munson that she was not breathing on her own, and had a substantial amount of fluid in her lungs. She spent the next next week in the NICU on a breathing machine until they decided a specialist was needed when her condition was not improving.
Carter has since been at Grand Rapids Helen DeVos Children's Hospital where they discovered she has an extremely rare birth defect called Congenital Pyriform Aperture Stenosis.  Carter's nasal passage was too narrow due to an overgrowth in her upper jaw bone making it very difficult for her to breath, and life threatening if not treated surgically.  On Tuesday April 27th they operated.  She will remain at DeVos under close observation with nasal stents until she has made a full recovery.
We are starting this GoFundMe to try and help lighten some of the financial load of all the unforeseen expenses that have come up for Carter's mom and dad.  If you'd like to assist with their financial hardship, any donations are greatly appreciated.  Thank you.
