Comfort for the Connelly's

As a long time friend to this family I have watched them go above and beyond for others on so many occasions that I could not sit back any longer and continue to watch them go through difficult times alone.

I am sharing this with all in hopes you will find the heart to show them some love in return. Asking for help is not what anyone wants to do & nor is it an easy thing to do but as most know, sometimes it takes a village to help a friend or loved one out.

Back in July Kevin went through major brain surgery to remove a tumor growing on or near his pituitary gland. A long yet successful surgery in all but the recovery has been rough. Although Kevin is doing much better in general, some good days, some bad. With out a pituitary gland, the body just doesn't know what to do. Hormones are all over the place, the headaches have been debilitating causing many trips & stays back in the hospital. Test, test, test along with scans & more scans it all continues to be a daily challenge. As you can imagine this has become a financial strain on the family. As Kevin continues to learn his new normal he is anxiously awaiting additional needed surgeries that were in the works before the tumor was discovered. Of course the tumor took priority but at the same time, has caused much of a delay with others.

Kevin is an independent contractor - all around handyman - of course with all the strain on the body he is not able to work a normal schedule until he can find steady comfort. No one is more eager to find that and get back to work than he is. He has always been such a go-getter & he is ready to GO!
