Comfort Melina and Alex in Their Darkest Hour

Shortly before 8am, on Saturday March 8th, 911 was called for a structure fire with entrapment of a 2 year old. Tones were dropped and 4 Departments were immediately dispatched. As fire personnel arrived on scene, a second alarm was dispatched.

Units rushed and arrived on scene as soon as they possibly could. As I arrived on scene, I could hear the screams coming from Melina, both from the pain and the fear of losing her son. I watched these trained men and women work together and put every effort forth they possibly could, but inevitably, it just wasn't enough to save poor Jesse Umbaugh

Jesse Umbaugh, 2 years old, lost his life this day. This is a fear that most people have, and this day it came true, for Melina Bryner & Alex Umbaugh.

This is the time we need to come together as a community and give support ❤️

We've hit the initial mark, but let's not stop there! This poor family not only lost poor little Jesse, leaving them with funeral costs, but they were both life flighted, leaving 2 life flight costs, hospital & Dr. bills, lost their 2 vehicles, and lost their home and everything in it with no insurance! They've been left work ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!
