Hi, my name is Colette Butler, the inventor of Comfy Bear, a one-of-a-kind heirloom. Comfy Bear came about while grieving the death of my husband (Daryl) and my sister cousin (Jackie). I was lying in bed crying and hugging a pillow wishing the pillow was filled with memories of our past. I considered buying two separate teddy bears and naming them after my loved ones but how could I place memories inside the bear and Comfy Bear was birthed. How wonderful it would be to have memories of my loved one inside a bear named after my loved ones. Then I came up with the memory bank, putting the Comfy Bear inside a plastic bear.

Loved ones can write memories of them and fill the memory bank. I would be able to read their memories and then I could pass it down to my children. Also, it would be wonderful to have a memory bank that I could fill with my own memories of my life and leave it to my children and they could have it for their children. My great-great-great grandchildren would have the chance to know me from Comfy Bear.

You now have an opportunity to comfort loved ones, friends, families and individuals that are grieving the passing of a loved one. Imagine every time you see a Comfy Bear, on TV, in someone's home or at a funeral; you'll know that you played an essential role in comforting that family. We ask that you partner with us to be the gift that gave comfort to families and provided them with unforgettable memories.
