Coming soon, 2024, Jesse 2.0 (with a beard)

Hi – From the day I started working at Fitness Together, I always felt like it was a family. This is especially true with someone in our FT family needs help. Recently Jesse learned that his lymphoma has spread to his brain and will begin another, estimated, 3-4 months of chemo. Jesse is an amazing human and great person! UPDATE:

The most recent chemo did not do what they were hoping, so he’s heading to Mass General for an immunotherapy treatment called CAR T-Cell therapy. Before that, he needs a few more rounds of radiation plus a few weeks of chemo. So he’s looking at another 3ish months in the hospital. The big issue is that they need to send him out of state and his insurance won’t cover it all.

One of the residual symptoms from last week is that he lost some fine motor skills in his hands and fingers and is having a hard time texting. So he sees texts but can’t respond to them. Just so you know, he’s not ignoring anyone, he’s reading everything but can’t respond with more than a few words.
