Coming together for the Buddhas birthday

We are a group of people drawn from various Buddhist organisations throughout Australia. Because of the COVID 19 lockdown many temples are unable to host their usual Vesak or Buddha's Birthday celebrations. In a time when we cannot gather together at one location, our hope is to create togetherness online by sharing our traditions through recordings and live engagement.   We wish to give as many people as possible the opportunity to share in the traditions of different Buddhist communities, leading to greater understanding and appreciation, both of our faith and also of the different cultures involved.  We have currently raised about half the funds we need.  The production will go online on 10 May 2020 and we will need to settle accounts two weeks later.  We trust you think this is a worthy project and hope you can share with us in creating something of benefit for all.
