Coming Together for the Ruggiero Family

Hi, my name is Bailey Roberts. I'm starting this initiative to support Joie, Orlando, and Eddie in the coming years as an extension of what Joe would have wanted to give his family. Please share this directly with family, friends and extensions of Joie and Joey's community. Previously I had expressed a boundary to keep this off of social media, but after much thought, conversation, and permission from the family, we've decided that it is appropriate to open this page up to the broader public.  It's important that we all have an opportunity to come together and remember Joey, support the family and allow people an avenue to help. 

 

Joe “the rug” Ruggiero touched and changed the lives of everyone that crossed paths with him.

 

Joe would probably not be too into the idea of a “go fund me” page as he was the last person to ever ask for anything. 

 

Joe was a giver. He was generous with his possessions, time and spiritual gifts. He showed up tirelessly for so many people.  This Go Fund Me is a way for all of us to pay tribute to his light and to make sure that his family, Joie, Orlando and Eddie, don’t have to worry as they grieve.
