Coming Together For Chet
Donation protected
I am Bill Johnston, and I am writing on behalf of the Johnston and Donovan families as we are looking for your support for my nephew Chet Johnston, son of Bob and Michelle and brother of Jack and Shane.
On Friday, April 11th Chet Johnston suffered a traumatic and life-changing spinal cord injury related to a fall at Middlebury College. Chet has made it through surgery at University of Vermont Medical Center and will soon be transferred to Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Boston.
We are asking for your support during this challenging time. Chet is going to face significant rehabilitation and additional clinical care. The family will need to make adaptive renovations to their home, purchase an adaptive vehicle, and significantly reduce their work schedules to focus on Chet.
The journey ahead will be a long battle. Chet is our son, brother, nephew, grandson, cousin and friend, but most importantly a great young man with tremendous character and determination. Chet is a scholar athlete who excelled in sports at Kennett High School in North Conway, NH, St. Paul’s School in Concord, NH and just finished his four-year career on Middlebury College’s football team in Vermont. To know Chet is to love him, to respect him and to admire him. We now need to come together for Chet to ease the upcoming burdens and show him that we have confidence in him to accept this challenge.
Thank you for considering a donation in support of Chet and would appreciate if you could share to your networks - especially in the communities of North Conway, St. Paul’s School, Middlebury College and Scituate.
