Hi, my name is Allie Marquette, and I am fundraising for one of my best friends and her family, Meg, Summer, Max & Luna. Due to the flash floods in Fort Lauderdale, they have sustained an enormous amount of damage to their home. In addition to their home, which is a duplex-style setup, the back apartment of their property has major damage that will need to be repaired as well.

The financial cost of removing and replacing the drywall and all the damage is just one component. A large portion of their personal belongings are ruined and will need to be replaced as well. The flood insurance they had previously was dropped because they were taken out of a 'flood zone', and they've been actively looking for new insurance.
