Comma Bookstore Events budget

Comma is an Independent bookstore located in Flint, MI specializing in progressive themed books and authors of color. Our mission is to feature mostly black and brown authors, with a retail space consisting of locally made products and art. COMMA is more than just a retail bookstore, we are firmly grounded in the community, reflective of the  identities and intersections of the community at-large. 

As part of our mission, we organize events that are cultural, inclusive and that educates communities. We have had great success with the events we organized so far. However, we have come out of pocket to pay vendors, music curators, artists, food, etc. We need help creating a startup event budget to continue having our quality events.
