Hi, my name is Zoe, i am a volunteer for the Committee Against Bird Slaughter (CABS) during their cyprus bird protection camp!

Cyprus is a hotspot for migratory birds, every year they are slaughtered in their thousands to be eaten as a Cypriot delicacy known as “ambelopoulia” they are also caught, killed and sold on the black market for profit. Large scale trapping is ongoing across cyprus and in order to keep the teams active in the field, doing what they do best, CABS rely on donations to keep the camp running!
