Communication tablets for nonverbal children

I am Pam Phelps. Our son Alex has medical and intellectual disabilities due to epilepsy that has driven me to become passionate to help other special needs families. In our journey to care for Alex, I have met many families that are raising nonverbal children in relation to autism or another medical diagnosis. It’s now a mission for me to help families be able to communicate more with their child. Communication speech tablets are available to purchase, but at a very expensive cost. The process to have these covered by insurance can be lengthy. I’m in the beginning stages of fundraising for this population of special needs.
