March 11 - The WHO declared COVID-19 as a global pandemic  affecting hundreds of thousands of people worldwide.

Even though as on 3/14/2020, there are a handful of confirmed cases here in North Texas, there are already thousands of affected individuals and communities troubled by the economic impact of reduced and lost work caused by closures and also from the fear and confusion about the outbreak.

We are continuing with this GoFundMe to utilize the funds to help with our  #mealport care packages - 

Those individuals and families severely impacted due to loss of work OR being unable to work due to self quarantine and need food & assistance.

The meal care package provides a family of 4 with the essentials for their pantry to last a week.

*Noodle Packets
*5 lbs Bag of Potatoes
*5 lbs Bag of Onions
*Assortment of fresh Vegetables
*Cookies and Crackers and other Snacks
*Coupons and FREE meals from local restaurants and businesses
*Recipes

Our goal is to feed a family of 4 for up to a week, adding to our package coupons and meal tickets from local participating restaurants.



The donated funds will be utilized on a rolling bi-weekly basis as our fundraising continues throughout the outbreak and recovery phases of the crisis, making it possible to move resources quickly and adapt to evolving needs in subsequent funding phases. 

We are raising money to benefit Human Embrace, and any donation will help make an impact.
