Community Aid: Cyclone Fengal Relief Fund

Cyclone Fengal has engulfed the Tamil homeland, leaving tens of thousands displaced as floods have left communities across the island devastated. In under a week, approximately 200,000 people have been affected by the climate disaster in the North-East.

We’ve partnered with Vidiyal, to ensure funds are used for essentials and livelihoods. Vidiyal, a grassroots organization, has long addressed the material grievances of our people. It’s the same group we supported during COVID-19 (2020) and economic crisis relief (2022). As always, we will provide proof of funds at the end of this campaign. Our goal is to raise $3000 CAD which will provide at least 200 families with food items that can last up to a month.
