Community Arts Halloween Fundraiser Competition

Hi, my name is Sara. I'm an artist based in Morecambe and often do a lot to support the local community in the Arts. I run the local Lancaster & Morecambe Repair Cafe, I volunteer at the Gregson Arts Centre; facilitating the Crafty Kids art sessions, specially designed with neurodiverse children in mind along with lots of other wonderful things.

I am looking to offer free art sessions in the community, particularly for children and young people who are in care, have experience of being in care or in non-mainstream education - like pupil referral units or similar.

This is very important to me, partly due to my own experience of being in care many years ago and my experience of teaching in non-mainstream educational environments has shown a huge lacking in Art education for young people.

ALL donors will be entered into a competition to win the original painting of the Joker and everyone who donates £10 or more will recieve a FREE signed print.

The funds will be used to pay for venue hire, art materials and administration.

The winner will be announced on Halloween!
