Community Base needs your help!

We come to you today with heavy hearts and a call for help. Last weekend, our beloved Community Base, a home for over 40 local charities and community groups in the heart of Brighton and Hove, fell victim to an act of vandalism. One of our large glass windows in our reception frontage was shattered, leaving us not only with a security concern but also with a financial burden that we were not expecting so close to Christmas.

Situated on a busy, central street just a few hundred metres from the station, Community Base is the lifeline for countless individuals who access vital services, information, and signposting through our welcoming reception every day. The incident occurred on a weekend night, and unfortunately, we are left without any leads on who may be responsible or how it happened.

We are now faced with the daunting task of replacing the shattered window, and the estimated cost for this unexpected repair is £1000. As a local charity dedicated to serving and uplifting our community, we are reaching out to you for help.
