Community bench in memory of Charles Bennington

It is new years eve and last year we were celebrating the new year with our son  Charles at The Ram in Brundell.

We had a fantastic time with Charles and his friends.We are remembering that time tonight 

As you may well know Charles died in a car accident in Febuary 2023 at Pedham Woods.

 I and some other friends regularly plant wild flowers and leave flowers to show we remember Charles 

There is no memorial to visit as we feel we need Charles ashes in his home with us.

One  of Charles friends has told us that some people find it too difficult to visit the place where Charles lost his life and thought it  would help to have a bench with Charles name on a plaque within Blofield Heath , where he lived his whole life.

We love this idea completely. 

I have contacted the council to start the process in achieving this.

We profoundly miss Charles and life has been very difficult without him.We loved him so very much,he especially gave us inspiration and joy with his own ambitions and life plans.

We have renamed our home, Charlesville with the council in his honor .

We fundraised for a memorial The Charles Bennington Acheivement Award at Easton College which is fully  established in his name and prize-giving will be in June 2024 .

Please may I ask for donations towards a bench where his friends ,villagers,mothers and children can use hopefully at Heathland Park if the council give permission.

I believe it to cost approximately £1700.if any extra is raised we could ask for a dedicated tree as well.

We especially thank all of Charles friends who keep in touch and everyone who supports us in Blofield Heath.

You have made us feel safe in this ongoing struggle to live with our great loss.
