Community Camera 2 chronicle Tucson
Donation protected
While shooting the Ride to the Capitol, my much loved Nikon and lens took their last photo. It was a solid camera, and had over 105,000 images captured. Almost all of these images were of the Community and shared on The Damion Alexander Team page on Facebook. A majority were of the cycling and running community but many were of the community coming together, landscape and charity events. While I potentially could charge for images, I do not and have no plan do so in the future. I have donated my time and camera for the community for nearly a decade and hope to do so for decades to come.
I have been saving for a new camera and lens and have nearly $1,500 in the fund. I'm asking for some help on the new community camera as well as a few lens, tripod and other gear to step up my game. This number is to get the bare minimum of what I need, but if I raise more, it will mean better and more options for photos of you.
I'd like to think this Go Fund Me is a little different from most as it's not about me, but about the community. While I get the privilege of using this camera, it will be for capturing the community. So, if you have enjoyed what I'm capturing, please help out.
If you can't help financially, I understand. If you are kind enough to share this, it will be greatly appreciated.
