Community Care for Studio 34 Space & Teachers
Donation protected
Hello Studio 34 Community!
We're raising money for our teachers to receive paid time off during the COVID-19 pandemic.
As a studio, we’ve begun to take precautionary measures by reducing class sizes to allow for more space between students. We are preparing for all possible scenarios and are aware that we may have to cancel classes in the near future and possibly move to an online platform.
As we prepare for this potentiality we are asking the community to step in and help our teachers whose main income is teaching.
Though we are fortunate to have friends in Philadelphia city council that are calling for a temporary moratorium on evictions, foreclosures, and tax-lien sales so that people won’t lose their homes if the coronavirus or the economic effects of the outbreak cause them to lose income , this has not yet been approved and cannot be relied on.
Our goal is to collect enough donations to pay teachers their average weekly income. If you are able, please consider donating.
We appreciate you all for bearing with us and taking care of yourself and your communities!
We will be posting more ways to support others in the community as well.
Thank you!

Update March 26 :
Hello friends, neighbors and wider community!
Thank you all so so much for contributing to our teachers PTO!
As the stay-at-home order takes effect and COVID-19 continues to be a threat, it's becoming clear that we, unfortunately, don't know when we will be able to reopen our doors. We are doing everything we can to come out on the other side. To that end, we're upping our goal to include financial support for the studio's additional overhead costs such as rent and utilities. You can also support us by sharing our gofundme and classes or even buying a giftcard for later use (if you have trouble purchasing you can reach out to Adrienne via email).
We know this is an extremely turbulent time for everyone; we are so grateful to be able to continue to support your wellbeing in any way we can. It's been great to move with you and see many familiar faces online, and we look forward to seeing more of you in our virtual classes.
Check our website and social media for an updated virtual class schedule !
Thank you, thank you, thank you,
Studio 34 Team
