Community Care for Single Mum Experiencing DV

Please help me lighten the load for a single mother of two small children, who has been experiencing extreme stress and has been the victim of domestic violence.

This mother is connected to the appropriate social services and police, however her financial situation is very challenging and she needs all the support she can get.

I am hoping to raise $3,000 which she can use towards her housing costs and bills, while she is in limbo land and not receiving child support (and is unsure what this will look like at all).

As she is not an Australian citizen (but has lived here for over a decade and her children are), she is not eligible for the single parent benefit from Centrelink either.

This mother has donated to every community fund I have organised over the last 5 years, and I would love to be able to say "now it's your turn to receive."

I will also match $2,000 of donations with a no-interest, long-term personal loan to support this mother during this time of crisis.
