“DRIVING” MS. LILY Bless A family for a vehicle

Donation protected

My name is Danielle and I own what used to be named Reox Automotive now named Doctor Boltz Automotive Clinic, here in Murfreesboro TN.
Owning a small business do come to meet many people on a day to day basis. But one customer truly spoke to my heart that I felt truly is someone I know who can use a friend, and a listening ear.
Lily came into our shop for some service on her car. She is in her 80’s
After we finished repairing her vehicle’s windshield wipers, I gave her a red carnation. I give carnations to our female customers. As soon as I handed it to her, she broke into tears. Saying it was the nicest thing she’s gotten. It was when I come to find out why Lily had been so frazzled and weary when I met her.

You see, Lily’s great granddaughter died leaving the great granddaughter’s children behind. Lily couldn’t bare the thought of these kids being placed in foster care. So she took full guardianship of the children. The oldest girl being 12 and two younger boys under the age of 11, I knew this was probably quite hard on Lily as she had a lot to manage with this new arrangement.
Lily has had heart surgery and has Lupus along other medical problems, her husband who she takes care of has had a stroke, and now three elementary school aged children . Truly she does not see how special she truly is.

Being a mother of three myself, and my own husband hospitalized for a few months, and being a caregiver for him while managing our business and family, truly spoke to me when Lily shared so much with me.

Rutherford County News / Murfreesboro.com. Just so happened to be doing a video segment on Facebook called “Random Acts of Kindness”
When I saw they were handing out hundred dollar bills to random people, I decided I wanted to donate to help.
When John Lacherri came to collect my donation, I spoke to him about Lily.
He made this video for Random Acts of Kindness Lily was brought $300 and a bouquet of Lilies.
She was so beside herself. Each time I play it, I still tear up.
So moving on with the story. Lily has come back to my shop and I couldn’t help but notice her windows were taped up, the motor is getting water from rain water leaking down, messing up her electrical system, and her check engine light is on.
The car itself is not worth investing anymore money on repairs. Meanwhile she has errands doctor visits and the kids to and from school to consider. But the vehicle is not reliable.
I morally don’t feel right about repairing issues that won’t help for the condition of the car. Nor do I feel it’s fair to charge Lily for service for these repairs.

So I am looking to bring my community together to help contribute to finding a reliable source of transportation. Lily lives in old Murfreesboro just a couple of turns away from the shop. Doubting Lily has all that she needs for her and the kids, and knowing she is making what she can work.
She truly has no idea how amazing she really is. We call woman of strength and perseverance a “Rosie” after woman in history Naomi L Parker also known as Rosie the Rivetor
I used Rosie the Rivetor as my source to empower myself becoming a female business owner in a very male driven industry. But I also overcame difficulties of keeping my family together when trauma has occurred.
Lily is a warrior. She underestimates herself. I truly believe she deserves more than she gives herself. She is selfless to those children who sadly lost their mother. The kids have taken a tru hardship. But Lily is giving meaning to family by being there for them.

Please join me to raise money for Lily and grand kids.
It does not need to be a new vehicle. But any little tweaks it needs if used I will be making sure all is good before we deliver it to her. I’d like to hopefully have this car to her before Christmas. We plan on bringing it special delivery to her door as a gift to her from all of the community.

As an additional Thanks , every person who donates who locally lives in the Middle TN area, I am giving a FREE oil change to for the month of December.

This by all means is not no promotion for my business. As I don’t believe in exploiting others for benefits. This truly means everything to me personally. MURFREESBORO came to help me and my family when my husband was hospitalized, and I know it’s even more amazing when we can come together as a community to create an even bigger blessing for someone with lesser advantages than ourselves.
Thank you kindly in advance. Anything helps! Any additional money after the purchase of the vehicle will be given to the family.
