We’re reaching out to our amazing community to ask for your help in supporting our pop-up community hub located at 92 Commercial Street, NP20 1LS, known as Community Connect Newport.

Our hub is more than just a space – it’s a warm haven and a safe place for everyone in Newport. Here, we provide essential support, from our baby bank to our role in Newport Support Network’s Multibank initiative. In just a short time, it’s already proving to be a huge success, but we need your help to keep it going.

Here’s what your support has already helped us achieve:

A warm hub during the winter, offering a cozy space for those in need.

A “Warm a Heart, Donate a Coat” campaign, distributing winter coats to keep our community warm.

A pop-up library, encouraging reading and learning.

Essential support for expectant mothers and families needing an extra hand.

Looking ahead, we have exciting plans:

Launching a Community Fridge to reduce food waste and help those in need.

Opening the hub during the Christmas period, ensuring no one in our community feels alone or unsupported.

We’ve managed to secure the bond and deposit for the space, but we’re now facing the ongoing challenge of covering rent and maintaining this vital service for Newport.
