Community D.C. Ralph Krutulis Requests Support

Father, Friend, Mentor, and Healer Ralph Krutulis has suffered from multiple strokes and has had to go into emergency retirement due to complications. Our family is seeking help to support Ralph’s medical bills on this journey as he contends with not only this unexpected medical news, but to weather the near complete loss of income from the emergency retirement.

Ralph has been a Doctor of Chiropractic for the last 27 years. He’s known throughout the community for being a healer who always pays it forward – from patients to friends and family, Ralph has always been there for the people and community that he loves. From a partnership with Grindstone Farms in Pulaski that let him reach patients who couldn’t reach him, to free medical care for veterans and active duty military members in honor of his Father, Ralph has always wanted to be the person doing the healing.

Now, we’re asking you for your donations as his journey as a healer and chiropractor is coming to an end.

Ralph’s friends and family know him to be a brilliant, funny, eccentric, talented, and fundamentally generous man. He loves nature and traveling and has an immense knowledge of the things he’s passionate about. Ralph’s child, Mari, says “We would go into the woods behind our house and go on hikes to the falls. It would take a good half hour or so longer every time because dad would stop every so often and point out the type of tree and what uses its bark had, or a track from an animal that he wanted to show us. He would always make it a lesson that my brother and I were eager to hear. It was about noticing the little things and how it all connects within nature and us. He was all about exploration in nature and still is. This past Tuesday we went for a hike with dad, and it was just the same!”

Your donations will help us keep Ralph out and about and in nature for as long as possible, and help us preserve his independence as he navigates medical complications. Your gifts to our family will break down like this:

-At $25,000, we will be able to hire in-home care for Ralph for one year.

-At $142,000, we will be able to ensure Ralph stays in his home surrounded by family.

-At $342,000, we will be able to pay off debt accrued in the last year as a symptom of Ralph’s changed headspace due to the strokes.

-When we fully fund this campaign at $500,000, we will be able to cover all of the burden of bills and expenses accrued not just by Ralph’s medical diagnosis, but his sudden emergency retirement and loss of income.

Ralph has lost about a third of his brain mass so far, but is still in high spirits and waiting to take on the next adventure. Thank you for donating so that we can fuel his big brain and his generous heart!
