Community Defibrillator at Vision Hair & Beauty

Hi I am Caren Vollans very proud owner of Vision Hair & Beauty Haxby, I am a Haxby girl through and through and my community is so important to me. Since the pandemic I have known of and heard of so many people who have sadly passed due to heart conditions come from no where and also developed them and I just feel I need to help in anyway I can. Therefore I have decided I would like to have a community defibrillator outside the salon for anyone to use in the unfortunate event it may be needed.

Now I would love to be able to fund this myself but sadly it’s just not in my financial ability therefore I have decided to do something very much out of my comfort zone and extremely challenging for me so …… I am going to do the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge

Pete as always is my supporter in everything I want to do and he is doing it with me so we’re raising the funds for this together.

I have set a £2000 target as I want to make sure I cover the cost of everything the defib needs, electric fittings etc pads and so forth. If we in the incredible instance raise more than we need then of course those extra funds will be donated to a charity related to this.

Due to me being extremely busy over the last few weeks I unfortunately haven’t set this up earlier and it’s only 4 weeks away I have started training and I will smash this but I need everyone’s support going forwards so please please please this is for the whole community if you can sponsor us that would be amazing even if it’s just a small amount that great. We do understand how hard things are right now so even if you can’t financially support us please please share share share this link and hopefully we can get the money together and before the winter months I can have a defibrillator installed outside the salon ❤️

In the event not enough money is raised I will happily do another challenge until it is, that will be something we can all decide haha
