Community Eats provides free hot meals to those in need within the local community. We are a team of family members and volunteers, serving fresh hot food to the homeless, those in hardship and anyone who does not have the means to a hot meal.
We have been serving hot meals to our guests every Sunday since June 2016. With increased demand coupled with the desire to reach more people, the project has recently been extended to Hounslow and Hammersmith..
Community Eats is a collaborative project of Shewise, which supports the educational, economic, and social development of women of all ages and backgrounds and promotes them to come out of economic hardship.
In current times we walk past many on the road who are facing severe hardship in their day to day life. Community eats project particularly focuses on those needy and vulnerable homeless women and men. We provide a helping hand, a friendly conversation but above all a safe space to meet and eat.
Community Eats serves hot meals every Thursday and Sunday from 2.00pm – 3.00pm at the WERA Club SW10 0DS. Food is also distributed to the most destitute in the borough of Hammersmith and Hounslow.
