Community flag retirement box's

What My Project Is: Hi, my name is Jacob zipperer, and I'm working on my eagle scout project. My eagle scout project is placing three Flag retirement boxes around our community. One will be at the fire stations on 18346 Albany St SW and 10828 Littlerock Rd SW, and then therewill also be one at the Gate Schoolhouse on 16925 Moon Rd SW. The reason I chose these locations is that there are ballet boxes at those two specific fire stations and would be more likely to be seen by members of the community. I chose Gate school house because it is where my scout troop holds their meetings at.

Why It’s Important To Me: This project is incredibly important to me not only because I need to complete this project to achieve my eagle rank but because I believe that we as a community should have access to a specific place to donate our American flags that have been tattered, worn, and torn so that they may be retired in a respectful manner through a process called a flag retirement ceremony that my troop performs where we respectfully burn the flags.

How The Funds Will Be Used: The funding I receive from this go fund me will be used to purchase the boxes themselves along with the decoration that they have, it will also be used to pay for concrete padding and lumber to frame the concrete. All left over funds will be donated to the fire station afterwards.

Something to note: The box in the above image isn't exactly what my boxes will look like but it will be something very similar.
