Community Food Cupboard Expansion Manchester VT

Since we opened our doors in 1989, we have been helping local families in need. We started with 10 families and now we serve over 500.

We distribute about 25,000 lbs of food each month to our community. All this food is purchased by donations made by caring people like you. We are constructing 700 sq feet of covered permanent structure so that we can serve our community better. We need this protected addition to serve both the volunteers and help our hungry community members in need. We have been operating out of pop up tents in all kinds of weather. Standing in snow and rain due to the increased number of families needing food, and our storage space hasn't been able to keep up.

We are members of the Vermont Food Bank which sort of is like our Costco. We pay a membership fee to purchase bulk food at discounted rates. We are here to ensure that everyone in our community has access to nutritious food and other resources that will help them achieve their potential.
