Community Fruit Garden in Northdown Park

Donation protected
Hello

We're fundraising for plants for a community fruit garden at Northdown Park. The project is being done on TDC land so will be undertaken by volunteers with Friends of Botany Bay CIC using a grant from
KCC for initial groundwork.

Volunteers will be planting a selection of fruit trees and bushes that will be maintained to create a fruit/ foraging space within Northdown Park

Residents who'd like to support this project can buy their own sponsored tree or bush at Youngs Nurseries on Sacketts Lane.

Alternatively, you can simply donate here.

If you can donate £60 we can plant a tree on your behalf (let us know name in donation and it will be marked with a ribbon and you'll be notified when it's being planted). Similarly, individual fruit bushes are costed at £20 each.

Or simply donate a few pounds or whatever you can afford. Every penny of donation will directly buy trees and fruit bushes to help transform a neglected piece of land near the children's play area into an educational space to help reconnect people with naturally grown produce.
