Volunteer Firefighter Louis Needs Your Help

Louis leads a housing nonprofit, is a volunteer firefighter, a dog dad to Ms. Wigglebottom, and a NASA/JPL engineer.

His home was damaged by the Eaton fire this week and a day later, while he was still under an evacuation order, it was looted. His home is one block down from where the National Guard was stationed.

I’ve known Louis since 2016 through UCLA as a friend and colleague. Please help one of the greatest people in LA. His home was used as the office for his nonprofit. His team members are also currently in temporary Airbnbs.

The funds will go towards repairing his home, replacing his stolen items, and helping him secure housing over the coming weeks and months. He knows over 100 people who lost everything; he is a pillar in our LA community who needs our support.
