Community Hub not Race Club for Stafford

Hi, my name is Anna, and I am a member of the Stafford Heights community.

Recently I was shocked to read that Brisbane City Council approved the handover of a community club lease to the Brisbane Racing Club.

We need to raise a small amount of funds to campaign on this poor decision. Read more about what we are trying to achieve:

The Stafford and surrounding community call on Brisbane City Council to cancel the newly-announced lease handed to Brisbane Racing Club and invest in a Stafford community hub that benefits the whole community, not purely commercial interest.

Brisbane City Council has approved the handover of a sporting club to take over the original Stafford Bowling Club lease to a commercial venture - The Brisbane Racing Club.
