Community Kibble Start Up
Tax deductible
Paws Crossed is launching a new program called: COMMUNITY KIBBLE. This program will provide food, litter and other pet supplies to families in need in Westchester County. The program's mission is to "Feed One By One Until There Are None".
What we need to get started:
- Storage container / delivery
- Shelving units
- Paint
- Food/supplies to fill up the storage unit!
How the program will work:
- Donated food, litter and supplies that are not used for our pets at the Rescue will be brought into the Community Kibble storage container on property.
- The storage container will be open to the public 8:30am-5:00pm every day.
- Families that need supplies are free to take what they need based on an honor system.
- All families will remain anonymous.
Why this program is so important:
- At Paws Crossed we believe that everyone deserves the unconditional love a pet can offer you, regardless of income!
- With the Hudson Valley Pet Food Pantry now closed, we hope to be able to fill the gap for the families they helped as well as many others.
- This will help keep companion pets in their homes and out of the shelter system by providing assistance to families that are having financial troubles.
