On December 4th, Philip’s 47th birthday, the Navarro family faced an unimaginable loss: the passing of their beloved husband and father after a courageous year-long battle with brain cancer. He loved being funny and creative with his kids: building intricate forts for Nerf battles, running up the walls in a 'Matrix-style' bedtime routine, playing chess, or creating elaborate games around the house when they were little. Every moment was filled with joy and laughter, a testament to the happiness he found in being their dad. A family man to his core, Philip was always ready to focus on his children. One Christmas, when the lights on an ugly sweater flickered and broke, he pulled out his soldering kit and taught the boys how to fix it. Philip was always teaching, always sharing skills to help them grow into smarter, more capable people.

Through his love, creativity, and dedication, Philip gave his boys a strong foundation. Inspired by his dad’s guidance, Connor is interested in pursuing electrical or computer engineering in college. Ethan has embraced Philip’s love for martial arts and dreams of working with aircraft. Liam, guided by his dad’s dedication to nurturing curiosity, has developed a passion for animals and hopes to work with them one day. Whether through problem-solving, creativity, or fostering his children’s interests, Philip’s influence will continue to shape each of their journeys.

One of Philip’s final words to Charli was his concern about failing his boys by leaving them. But the truth is, Philip gave them everything he could, and his influence will remain with them forever.
