Community Rally for Briana and Ashton

Some of you may have heard about the fire on 315 that was recently reported in the news. It’s with a heavy heart that I’m sharing a GoFundMe for someone who is very close to me—someone I’ve known their entire life and who means a lot to this community. Her name is Brianna Degeyter, and her boyfriend, Ashton Ziegler. Brianna is an incredible Ag Educator at Jenkins Elementary School, where she teaches our children about animals, agriculture, and how to nurture life.

Tragically, today her life was turned upside down when her home was engulfed in flames, leaving her without the majority of her belongings and her sense of security. Through no fault of her own, she is now facing a future filled with uncertainty and tremendous financial strain. Beyond her work in the classroom, Brianna is deeply involved with our community. She is an active member of the Interlachen IMPACT Rotary Club and the sponsor for the EarlyAct program, teaching young kids about service and leadership.

This is someone who has given so much to others, and now she needs us. I’m asking for our community to come together for Brianna and Ashton in their time of need. Whether it’s through sharing this post, sending prayers, or donating to help them rebuild, any support will be deeply appreciated. I know the strength of this community, and I have no doubt we can make a difference for this family as they navigate the difficult days ahead.
