Community Support for Andrew Acque

Andrews message-- First and foremost I am not guilty of this crime I'm being accused of and the fact that my reconsideration of release for pretrial keeps getting rescheduled. I feel like I'm being strong armed into taking a guilty plea to get out on probation and if I dont fight for my innocence i will have to stay incarcerated two-three more months which is potentially a death sentence as I may be exposed to covid-19. I have a preexisting medical condition that could make this virus life threatening if contracted. I feel as though this is cruel and unusual punishment and I feel as though I have no means of reaching out to anybody that can help me while I'm incarcerated.  If you could find it in your heart to donate please do so. Donations received will help with legal fees and/or financial hardships accumulated while I've been detained.
Andrew is the most selfless person and is always there to help anyway he can. He's aided many times throughout our communities across turtle island in numerous forms. Some examples are when he helped Siddiq(local hip hop artist) with hoodies for the homies project which entailed collecting and distributing winter clothing and food donations to the less fortunate here in Albuquerque, NM. He also helps at the Albuquerque Indian Center with distributing food that's donated through the roadrunner food bank as well as serving hot meals to the community. Andrew is the founder of Native Artists In Action(NAIA) a collective of like minded artists with the mission to spread cultural integrity and preservation through non violent actions like teaching and expression through art. NAIA builds off the idea "each one teach one" they use their knowledge to reach the youth and provide activities to teach and promote self growth. NAIAs main goal with the free workshops and events they host is to provide already talented youth with the outlets to apply their talents and skills. Andrew also coordinated a free self defense class for women which he called "self defense the sacred". With the high number of women being abducted and experiencing domestic violence most of which are women of color Andrew wanted to teach the women in our community basic self defense. This is his response to the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women crisis plaguing turtle island.
